Rock wool is classified in Group 3 by IARC, i.e."unclassficable as to it's carcinogenicity to human". SHENZHOU rock wool board is free of asbestos, CFC, HCFC and does not promote growth fungi and bacteria.

6. Mineral/ Rock wool application
Elastic mid-strength rock wool board: used for building wall/ roof heat insulation, fireproofing and sound absorption, such as curtain wall, inner wall partition and elevator hoistway etc.
High-strength rock wool board: used for heat insulating vessel, tanks, ovens, equipments, etc. And for roofing insulation of large workshop and airport louge.
SHENZHOU rock wool boards are applied in roof insulation system, as heat insulating and load bearing layers, to compose roof insulation system in conjunction with flexible coiled materials( eg: TPO/ PVC/ EPDMETC.)ENERS. This structure is widly used in steel structures or concrete flat roof insulation systems of plants, gymnasiums, workshop and storage area.
